Phocea DC was born from a conviction: Marseille, France’s second city and the world’s sixth largest interconnection hub, deserves a digital infrastructure funded in Europe and operated in France. We rehabilitate existing buildings in the heart of the city to host, interconnect and grow the digital infrastructure of tomorrow.
A three-site campus on the Marseille hub
One site in production, two being deployed: complementary, sovereign and interconnected infrastructure, run by local teams to support your colocation, connectivity, cloud, AI and HPC needs.
The campus’s first data center, in production since January 2025: 1,700 m² of Tier III colocation in a rehabilitated building in the heart of Marseille’s 3rd arrondissement, with a team on site 24/7.
The campus’s second data center, being deployed along the lines of the DC-M1 model: sovereignty, energy efficiency and proximity, with capacity designed for cloud, AI and HPC workloads.
The campus’s third data center, being deployed to support the growth of Marseille’s digital infrastructure and high-density requirements.
From a quarter rack to a private suite, in a Tier III-designed infrastructure: redundant power, air cooling, liquid cooling or immersion cooling, 24/7 controlled access.
Carrier-neutral site: meet-me room, dark fiber, IP transit, peering and direct access to the subsea cables of the Marseille hub.
Technicians on site day and night, remote hands, continuous monitoring and support for your migrations.

Finally, a 100% French data center in Marseille. I have no regrets about migrating my servers to this data center, with its latest technologies, tightly controlled access security and, above all, such a low PUE. The Phocea team really listens to us and was there to make sure the migration and installation of my equipment went as smoothly as possible.
